MEET THE MOST ACTIVE ANGEL INVESTORS GLOBALLY

Angels are among the most valuable forces driving the tech ecosystem forward. The 18 most active angels globally have collectively invested in nearly 4,500 companies—and there are many more super angels out there who are well worth watching and having on your cap table.

In this piece, we take a closer look at some of the most active angel investors globally, as well as many others who are pushing the tech ecosystem forward.

1. Hesham Zreik
Hesham is a venture capitalist and entrepreneur, known for founding FasterCapital, a startup accelerator and incubator. He has invested in numerous tech startups across the globe.

2. Edward Lando
Edward is a startup investor and entrepreneur, co-founder of companies like Goody and Pareto. He’s known for backing early-stage tech companies and supporting founders directly.

3. Kunal Shah
Kunal is the founder of FinTech company CRED. He previously founded FreeCharge and is a prominent voice in the Indian startup ecosystem.

4. Naval Ravikant
Naval is an angel investor, entrepreneur, and philosopher of startups. He co-founded AngelList and has invested in over 100 companies including Twitter, Uber, and Yammer.

5. Charlie Songhurst
Charlie is a former Microsoft executive and prolific angel investor.

6. Mark Cuban
Mark is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, and a well-known investor on Shark Tank.

7. Balaji Srinivasan
Balaji is a tech entrepreneur, investor, and author. He’s the former CTO of Coinbase and General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, with interests in crypto, health, and decentralized tech.

8. Scott Belsky
Scott is the Chief Strategy Officer at Adobe and the founder of Behance. He’s an author and investor with a focus on creativity, product development, and startups.

9. Gokul Rajaram
Gokul is a product leader and investor, having worked at Square, Facebook, and Google. He is often referred to as the "godfather of AdSense" and is a respected angel investor.

10. Nadav Ben-Chanoch
Nadav is a tech entrepreneur and investor, involved in the crypto and Web3 space.

11. Daniel Curran
Daniel is an angel investor and entrepreneur, founder of CustEx. He focuses on community-driven products and early-stage tech investing.

12. Paul Buchheit
Paul is the creator of Gmail and a former Google engineer. He’s a successful angel investor and was also a partner at Y Combinator.

13. Jon Oringer
Jon is the founder of Shutterstock and one of New York’s most prominent tech entrepreneurs. He took the company public and remains active in startup investing.

14. Marc Benioff
Marc is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Salesforce.

15. Scott Banister
Scott is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, known for co-founding IronPort and being an early backer of PayPal, Uber, and many others.

16. Shervin Pishevar
Shervin is the founder of Sherpa Capital. He was an early investor in Uber and has backed many major startups in tech and transportation.

17. Louis Beryl
Louis is the founder of Earnest. He focuses on fintech and consumer startups.

18. Justin Mateen
Justin is the co-founder of Tinder. He focuses on consumer internet and mobile startups, helping scale products globally.
